We’ve been keeping Glen Iris’ laundry clean for more than 50 years . We offer both self-service laundromat facilities and fully serviced laundry along with dry cleaning services.

Ironing Services

We iron shirts, pants, dresses, uniforms and bedding, returning everything neatly pressed on hangers or folded, ready to wear.

To get the best finish, we use a combination of industrial press machines and careful hand ironing.

We offer reliable, high-quality laundry services tailored for NDIS providers and participants. Whether you require regular washing, drying, folding, or specialised care for personal clothing, bedding, or support garments, our team ensures everything is handled with care, hygiene, and efficiency.

Service Laundry & Dry Cleaning – Care Terms

Before you hand over your laundry

Please make sure you check all pockets and remove personal items, including (but not limited to):
tissues, pins, brooches, cufflinks, pens, lipsticks, USBs, headphones, business cards, condoms, tampons, glasses, handkerchiefs, money, keys, jewellery, ornaments, etc.

We cannot take responsibility for any items left in pockets or damage caused by them during the wash or dry process.

Garment condition & repairs

We do our best to inspect each garment for:
stains, rips, loose or missing buttons, colour fade, decolourisation, holes, shrinkage, thread pulls, frail edges, weak elastic, loose stitching, missing beads or sequins, etc.If we notice an issue, we’ll let you know where possible. In some cases we may be able to repair or reinforce items for an additional cost – just ask us.

Fabric, trims & general wear

Every care is taken with all items entrusted to us. However, because the true nature of many fabrics, dyes, trims and buttons is unknown, we cannot accept responsibility for:

-shrinkage or deterioration of fabric
-colour loss, colour runs or decolourisation
-damage to buttons, buckles, zips, beads, sequins or embellishments
-existing weak areas that may open up (frayed fabric, old stitching, worn elastic, etc.)

Some garments and trims are simply not designed for frequent washing or commercial processes, and may age or fail during normal cleaning.

Stains – what we can and can’t do

Not all stains can be removed.

We stock a range of professional stain-removal agents, each suited to different types of stains. To give us the best chance of success, please:

-Point out any stains when you drop items off
-Tell us the type of stain (if known) – e.g. wine, oil, ink, makeup
-Let us know how long it has been there

We will choose the most appropriate chemicals and techniques and always treat your garments with care.

However, some stains can be very stubborn or permanent, including (but not limited to):
underarm deodorant marks, old blood, red wine, dyes, certain food sauces, ink, heavy collar and cuff stains, road grease, super glue, sweat, paint and permanent markers.In these cases we will do our best, but results cannot be guaranteed and extra treatment may cause slight color loss or wear in that area.
